Old Fashioned Sleigh Ride Card

I made this for the design team I am on TTCRD. 

I took some Christmas scrapbooking paper. I cut each 10in by 4 in. Then kept the scraps. I scored each to make the cards 5in by 4 in.  

I printed the Sleigh Ride digital from Jan's Digi Stamps. I then cut them up. 

I took my scraps and cut them 4 in by 2 in. I used my corner cutter around all the corners. Then glued it onto the bottom of each card randomly.

I glued the sleigh ride onto each scrap.

I cut up some gauze and placed on the top of the card. I glued the phrase "Old Fashion Sleigh Ride" onto the gauze with hot glue.

Inside each card I glued food colored dye into the each card.

Christmas Blooms Window Shutter

 I have had an old window shutter laying around for a while to use for a project. I decided for my TTCRD design team project this week. I used the digital from Beccy's Place called Christmas Blooms Digital Stamps. I first painted the shutter black. Then colored and modpodged the digital onto the shutter.  I hot glued doilies and added some glitter accents. This project was time consuming based on dry time. Otherwise the project was quite simple and easy. Makes a perfect Christmas gift.

Snowmen Gift Bag

 I loved this idea for a design team project. I made it for TTCRD. We were sponsored this week by Dr. Digi. I choose Gift Bag Template "Snowmen". I wanted to get out of my comfort zone but also stick to my style. I used some walnut stain distress ink to make seem vintage. I also added some lace and twine to give it character. I only used a regular A4 cardstock. It's great to add some candies or in my case tea for my grandmothers upcoming Birthday. I threw in a cute vintage card printout for the front.

Grandma's Parlor Clusters

 I love to make journals. When I started this project for TTCRD I knew I wanted to have a bit of a play because the digital from Wink Wink Ink Grandma's Parlor. I took some amazon brown packaging paper. First I used white and pink paint to  paint the paper with a old credit card. I stamped the paper next. I ripped the paper to make 8 pieces. I printed and cut out Grandma's Parlor digital.  I decorated and glued different laces and papers. Last I glued each piece from the digital onto the clusters.

Vintage Children Journal Cover

1.  Cover the hard cover with Upholstery Fabric.
2. Add Lace to the right side.
3. Distress 2 scrap pieces and glue to bottom right corner.
4. Take cut out pieces from the Vintage Children Digital Kit distress and glue on top of the scrap pieces.
5. I decided it was to blank on the top left side so to balance the sides out. I added textured fabric and made a quick homemade label from a scrap on my desk.

I personally  loved making this project with my own digitals for Through The Craft Room Door.

1) printed out digital

2) Color in digital

3) Cut out digital into a square.

4) Cut out Cardstock to fit behind the square

5) Cut out the wings on digital

6) Glue digital onto cardstock (just make sure you don't glue the wings if you want pop up)

    I put some tan card stock around the can. I grabbed a piece of lace to cover the gap. Then used a stone stencil and mint embellishment mouse over top. I colored the DRS Designs with caliart art markers. I cut the image, sentiment out and glued them on with fabri-tac. Lastly, I glossy accented the sunflowers.

TTCRD Design Team project for Bugaloo Stamps

I used Ava Mermaid digital stamp as my main focal point.

I sprayed the shoe with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Spray.

I found some blue, pink, and white jewels from The Dollar Tree.

I also found blue. pink , and white flowers to fill the shoe with from The Dollar Tree. 

I wrapped the flowers with blue lace from my stash.

Although I have had a very busy and different type of weekend. This year marks the 100th year Church Picnic for Rudolph, WI USA. I have been taking my kids to this since they were born but I also have helped with the picnic since I was 14 years old which means 16 years I have been able to participate in the lovely community event. 

About the piece I made for TTCRD. I took an envelope that was glued shut. Embossed with Silver embossing and a unbranded butterfly stamp onto a black piece of card stock. I next glue the thin pink polka dotted ribbon onto the top and bottom. I decided I should cover a butterfly that did not emboss right. I glued a piece of white card stock to cover the butterfly. I watercolored the Hetty Clare digital Flower Boot and glued it on. Lastly I cut the side and thumb punched to create the pocket.

Hedgehog Candy Decorative Folder

 I recently have been going through quite a few personal stuff going on. So I decided for my project designed for TTCRD I would try something rather basic. I took the digital Hedgehog Candy Bellyfulls made by ColourOfLoveShop. I colored for the first time with alcohol markers. I like to experiment with new things. I cut the digital out. Then I took a piece of 6 by 6 scrapbooking paper to block the area that had been written on. Then I glued the pieces onto the orange folder. Just remember it took me almost 3 hours to color because I have 2 girls who are constantly fighting now that it is summer time.

Decorative Victorian Boot Box

This project took longer than I thought due to modeling paste took way longer to dry. I used Creative Hearts digital for my design team TTCRD. I sprayed distress spray all over the box purples and blues. I added a strip of lace and some music paper.

Vintage Flowers Journal Card

 I wanted to make a simple journal card for my design team project today for TTCRD. I used a floral from Pinksydoodle. She has really pretty SVG files. If I had a cutting machine I would definitely be buying some. I grabbed an old piece of junk mail covered it with ledger paper for a background. I colored the flower digital with colored pencils. I found some word stickers and added them to the card.

 I decided to make a journal card today for my design team project for TTCRD. I used the digital stamp- Val from Wink Wink Ink as my main focal point. I cut some watercolor paper 6 in. by 4 in. Then I used generic alchol inks to make my background. I had some freebies I found on Pinterest to add "Limited Edition" and "No. 1." I added a home made label I made on how to make your own label video. I glued the lace at the bottom to embellish a bit more. I try to keep my pieces uneven on what is all on it .

Wonderland Tea Cup

 I initially feel in love with this digital made by JMC Designs. While making this for my design team project for Through the Craft Room Door I became more in love with it. I am still experimenting with embossing powder. First, I colored in the digital with Simply colored pencils. Next, I used my embossing pen to trance around and emboss with silver embossing powder. For the background I sprayed Salvage Petina and some food coloring. Then I distressed both the background and the tea cup with Walnut stain distress ink.

Friends With Nature Mini Journal Cover

 Hello,

 Hello Everyone,

Just got done with my design team project for Through the Craft Room Door. I worked with LeAnnes World 101 . I used two different hand drawn digital stamps. Both paper bags I covered with purple and blue cardstock to make a frame. I embossed over all the cardstock. I am just learning how to emboss with embossing powder. I colored with colored Zipgit colored pencils and glued the digital.

Picture Perfect Day

 Hello Everyone,

For this weeks design team project for Through The Craft Room Door I  decided to play a little with canvas, At first I had the digital Perfect Day from All Dressed Up Stamps on Etsy.  The stamp was so beautiful that I felt coloring it would wreck since I am not the best at coloring. So I brought out a black piece of cardstock as a frame around it. Then embossed a cute rose stamp around the cardstock to give it texture. My 6 year old was sorting out some of my stickers and I noticed one that I thought would go great with the digital stamp. The sticker was a puffy sticker that said "One Of A Kind". I thought perfect for this digital stamp. Then my next thought is what am I going to put this on. I decided on a canvas because I thought the lace and distressing the lace would bring more vintage charm to the piece. I also used that small rose stamp to emboss down the sides of the canvas to draw the flower pattern through out the piece and kept it the same green that was used in the sticker.

Altered Chess Board

So this week, I decided to try transferring the Sheepski designs Buttercups - image no 238. I try to make sure I am trying something I have never done before when making projects for the design team Through the Craft Room Door.  Well the first time with regular white glue it didn't turn out at all. The second time I tried to see if I could transfer the image onto it I used mod podge. Turned out to not be as visible as I wanted it. I decided to use maker to trace all that I could see. I want to use the blue frame and add Maremi Small Art butterfiles. I also added ugly buttons I colored with Apple Barrel paint. This design team project took me a total of 12 consecutive hours to make. Also recently reopened my own Etsy Shop My Hope Craft Shop.

Spring Is In The Air

 I am so ready for spring and summer to come. So for Through The Craft Room Door DT project this week I used a lot of purples, greens, and blues. First I used an unbranded stencil and textured the back of a old book cover. Then I added an old stamp that was damaged after 20 years of using it. I tore it off the block to reuse the block and used the lilac stamp as a textured piece. I used some purple, green and blue Apple Barrel paint. I glued on some pictures I found of my kids. Lastly, I distressed with Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink 1 Corinthians 13 4-8 Digital Stamp by Eureka Stamp It Up. Eureka Stamp It Up has quite a variety of wonderful digital stamps.

Happy Birthday Card

 I don't normally make cards. So today I decided for Through The Craft Room Door design team project I would make a Birthday card for my mom. I used the digital Winnie Celebration 3 by Polkadoodles. First I colored her in mainly green and yellow because my mom is a huge packer fan. Then I picked out some green scrapbooking paper. I grabbed/glued some torn book page and food coloring dyed paper for in back of the digital. I glued the digital. I stamped Happy Birthday to napkin backing and mod podge it near the digitals feet. I may end up wanting to change that bit not sure yet. Lastly I added Stickles to add some other color than green and yellow.

Vintage On Air Altered Bags

My design team project for Through the Craft Room Door I altered bags. I have been working on using up old book pages. I grabbed 2 different bags an old trick or treat bag 4 inches by 6 1/2 inches and small brown bag 3 1/2inches by 6 5/6 inches. I glued old book page as a base on each bag. Then added the "On Air" Digital Stamp from The Paper Shelter to each bag.  Then I decorated the bags with some words and ribbons.
