So I've seen all these youtube videos on how to make your own art Journals to sell. So I decided to make one or a few to sell in my garage sale within this month.

Christmas in July flipbook

A flipbook I am making for an happy mail swap I joined on facebook. Its mixed media (which means its scraps, ephemera, embellishments, vintage paper, and other art supplies or recycables).

Paperclip embellishments

So another part of art journaling is making your own embellishments...So today I used old scrapbooking paper and old cards to create some paperclip banners

I wanted to make her into a mermaid at first then found these pretty flowers. I used oil pastels, gesso, old paper that had rings on it, and magizine clippings. I think it turned out beauiful.

A bridal inspired and I used a new flower technique I learned. I love this one I am not sure why but love it.

So I used my first water coler pencils from Staedtler. Oil colors from art advantage washi tape from ebay. All for the dice and deal challenge for May 2017. I don't know if I did it right but I hope I did either way it gives me a learning experience with mixed media.

#1 Art Journal page

I have been watching youtube videos about mixed media and art journaling so i started collecting supplies. I want to try doing an art or mixed media page once a day but the days I miss because of family stuff I will make up. I will also be trying to do youtube videos once my tripod gets in. But anyways today i really wanted to try these Bazic product oil pastels. I decided to draw a fall tree to test out the oil pastels and see if I liked them. I like to buy stuff on ebay and sometimes they are not what I expect some for better or worse. But here is the art journal page hope you like it.
