So Ive been trying new techniques on different magazine paper to see how i like it.make the paper thicker. I am also going to try to sell the books I make in our garage sale for $5 a piece.

Art Journal

So I've seen all these youtube videos on how to make your own art Journals to sell. So I decided to make one or a few to sell in my garage sale within this month.

Christmas in July flipbook

A flipbook I am making for an happy mail swap I joined on facebook. Its mixed media (which means its scraps, ephemera, embellishments, vintage paper, and other art supplies or recycables).

Paperclip embellishments

So another part of art journaling is making your own embellishments...So today I used old scrapbooking paper and old cards to create some paperclip banners

#15 Art Journal entry

I wanted to make her into a mermaid at first then found these pretty flowers. I used oil pastels, gesso, old paper that had rings on it, and magizine clippings. I think it turned out beauiful.
